Our Story
Dear Baby Bump started with a beautiful original book written by Melanie Bright to read to a growing baby in the womb.
Science suggests that babies can recognise voices and even start to respond when still in the womb! Reading will also help a pregnant mother to relax and bond with their baby. Melanie wanted to encourage all family members to read to their new baby so ensured her book was suitable for all, no genders, no ethnicity and no family stereotypes. It truly is a book suitable for everyone to read and bond with their new baby.
This beautiful poetic book gives everyone a starting point to speak to the new baby, offering the reader the chance to introduce themselves and explain all the wonderful things they hope to do. After spending time at the seaside and playing in the snow, the reader can tell their baby about their hopes and dreams for them in the future.
